I just wanted to respond to you lovely letter about your son...
I too have a child who was just diagnosed with ADHD..He is going to
be 7 in July and still cannot read well and hates it too...
He excels in math and also loves gameboy and anything of that sort...
I am a single parent of 2 and my daughter who will be 9 is the total
opposite of her brother...I am testing her for the gifted program but
she is not my issue...I am trying to find support groups to help me
and also psycholgists that deal with children with ADHD as well....
I am not sure what to do or say and my patience isn't always my best
but then again how can I be with my son the way he is and me not
really understanding what to do...I am not too sure if you can help
but I figured I would give this a try...I will close for now or I
will go on and on and I am sure you don't want to read all that...
