Skipping words while reading and writing

Posted by kuanyin

This happens to me a lot. It happens often when I am tired. I skip words.
Loose time for maybe 3 to 4 seconds. While writing it happens maybe in each
paragraph. I do not notice that it is happening while I am reading.

I am on 10mgs of Ritalin. It does not seem to allieviate it. It is maybe due
to inattention. You know, the so called blink. At one time, I thought I was
having tiny seizures. But it was something else.

This is hello while working on long research papers. A 15 to 20 page paper
would mean over a hundred pages of rough draft. I go over it again and again
in manic paranoia for mistakes. But the more I do it, the more tired I feel
and start skipping even more.

Does anyone experience this?
